I let the valet park my car the other day and next thing i know when I get back is that there is a one inch cut on my steering wheel. It's not deep, but I can definitely see it and feel it everytime I run my hand over it.
Is there any way to fix this without replacing the whole steering wheel??

Is your steering wheel cut where the material is leather, MB-Tex, wood, or a combination of the above?

it's cut where it's leather.

In that event, I have no idea (sorry); I only know where to have the wood repaired/refinished.
Perhaps Madera Concepts can refer you to someone, though:

perhaps you can go back and tell the vallet's boss what happened.

performance products sells these really neat steering wheel wraps, kind of crapping up a nice C36, but its cheaper than a new wheel i'm sure.

Take it to a upholstery place, leather is definitely repairable. They just "melt" it back together and buff it out. It'll be right back to new again.

so i just went to this place called Auto Mat where I live and they do some upholstery type of work. I asked him what he could do with my steering wheel. He said something along the lines of sanding it down and then smoothing it out. It won't look perfect, but it'll be smooth at least. It'll cost about $180 to do.
What do you guys think??
are there any other options i can explore?
is the price too high?

Any damage that you think was done to your car by a valet as to be reported before you leave the lot. Once you leave, you're S.O.L.
