Got back from CompUSA earlier and got me a bad-ass aluminum notebook cooling platform. Now I haven't used my laptop excessively or have left it on 24/7 to expereience or notice any heating issues, but I got this thing for precautionary reasons and also because it looks so freaking cool! (And also I drove a considerable amount of distance to CompUSA, so gotta make my time and gas money's worth!) I've read about a product that was similar to this and people said it really works. Then someone said that CompUSA has a product identical (or almost identical) to it. The thing really looks state-of-the-art and kinda "hi-tech" and it claims to:

-Provide superior cooling of your notebook PC with efficient heat dissipation
-Reduces overall temperature of notebook PCs for higher performance applications
-Increases overall computer battery life by reducing internal fan usuage

in addition:

-Revolutionay heat pipe design helps dissipate heat from the center
-Compatible with all types of notebook computers
-No installation required
-Fanless/Zero noise operation

I'm going to see how it fairs. Better work for $30.00+!!!!
