Here are shots that I took at the shopping center in my community on December 25th, 2005. I love taking photographs on this day because I can take them without the inturption from other people.

And yes, I backed up the car on the sidewalk...lol...I just finished taking pics in the nick of time because I saw security roll into the center...So I just hauled ass out of there...lol...my car is probably on the black-list...haha

Anyways...check out the new pics of my SLK...

your car looks xtremely hot, get it huh huh, xtreme as in yella e500, haha.jk
The wheels definitly work well with your car, so you have really made a great choise. You definitly need to start moding the engine. and also change your host, all of the pics that yo post are terribly small.

I actually prefer the smaller pics...cause I can't stand it when the host is slower than molasses and I have to wait an eternity for 20+ pics to come in...meanwhile I can't scroll to the bottom of the thread.

Besides, you don't have to have something at 1600X1200 to tell if it's a quality shot.

krk, you rock man. That is precisely the way to get some great shots...when people are nowhere to be found :P

I like the third pic. It is a good balance of environment and car, and the foreground elements balance things nicely :)

Few mods and such a huge difference, alot nicer than a stock one. Very sweet. I'm telling my gf to sell her toyota highlander and get a used SLK32. I'd be driving it all day :D

I really like your choice of wheels / suspension. Very nice. Cool pictures too.

krk...

everyone's been telling me to drop my slk...

what's your suspension setup and is it a big diff from the stock in terms of ride?

yes, those that have been advising you speak the truth...haha

i absolutely don't regret lowering my SLK...honestly speaking, the ride didn't get that much stiffer (imo), it handles 100x better (well, i suppose having Pirelli P-Zeros helps too - 265/35/18s on the rear), and looks 100x better as well...

i use H&R Sport Springs with #2 pads and Bilstein Sport shocks...I went with H&R because they offered a lower drop than Eibach and I also use H&R Springs (since Jan. 2003) on my 190E...very much satisfied with their product.

as you can see the car is low, no fender gap and not tucked-in either... ;)

I have bilsteins and eibachs on my c class...and I'm real happy wth that setup...was thinking of replicating it on the r170...but I'm just concerned about the ride =)

there's all these little rattles from the glove box that annoy me and if the ride gets harsher they might get louder...

I'm all for the looks though, as I really feel the 17's are too small...and the gap is incredibly irritating

hey did you get your grill yet?
