So i caught up with a buddy from school and he sold his stock MK3 vr6 and bought another one and had some work done.
mods: corrado clutch with lightened flywheel, TT catback, Intake, CHIP, and some small stuff i forgot about.

So he tells me he took the car to track and ran a 14.6, i kinda got conserned so i told him id run him on highway.

So the runs:

Run 1:
He decided to punch it right off the exit, and down shifted to (??) gear and i stayed in 5th and stayed on his ass till 120, and let off.

Run 2:
he decided to go from 60, i only down shifted to 4th as he changed it to 3rd. We punched it and i started to walk on him, half car lenght to 90 due to traffic.

Run 3:
Going from 65, i downshift to 3rd, i dont know what gear he was in, but it was a murder, i started walking on him and made 2 car lenghts to 105-110.

probably not, reason i figure this is cause we went on a mountain run before when he had his previous Vr6 that was fully modified suspension wise, and my car was stock, and he could not walk away from me at all in corners, so with that much work done my best bet is he cant drive

my thoughts exactly cause he would have easily killed u if he drove it right, is the VR6 4x4 or front whel drive and is ur car 4x4 or fwd

they dont make 4 wheel drive for our cars in U.S, so both the GTI and the Jetta are front wheel drive.

I dont know if it would make any difference but his car has 160K miles, but he did say the engine was redone!

hahaha that makes a huge difference. At 160k I wouldn't expect a benz to be running tip top, much less a people's car.
