took some quick pics today. It was just for testing out the tri-pod. Haven't really got time to really play and learn how the hell do I use this damn camera since it started to rain. Oh yea..one of the pic you can sort of see the painted red rear caliper.

wow perfectness....from the kit to the rimms to the calipers and the nice clean paint on your car all perfect.....but a word of advice try to use a better background for the next shots..bad asphalt and rusty gates dont do your car any justice imho

Looking sweet!!

I think I saw you pull into The Wheel Supply 2 weeks back - I was picking up my Honda and saw your car - was in a rush so I wasn't able to say hi and compliment the car. Keep it up!

You know what would be super hot? The body shop that TWS sends their cars out to does some amazing widebody conversions (they did the TEIN demo cars out here) . . . if they can do a custom DTM widebody for your car, that would be oh so sick. If I were to ever get a 203, or another 202 for that matter, that mod would be tops on my list! So what if it was a lowly 230K or 240 and didn't have the balls to match? I'd blame my slow driving on having to protect the ultra-low DTM front splitter . . . ;)

Back on topic - great looking car!

thanks man...

but widebody's out of the question for me. I don't think I can stand the fact that these widebody are never perfect. It might be perfect to look at, but lots of hidden problems only the owners would know.

right now I think pulley will be the first priority. Today I felt my car being slow for the first time (minus the period where the intercooler was broken). Why I felt that today? I just came down 60fwy passed 71fwy going down hill versus a stock looking G35 coupe going absolutely insane-illegal-idiotic speed and the G35 is only 2 car lengh behind. Of course down hill plays a part as gravity helps his car. I'm sure if it was flat I would've dusted him for fun. However not being able to pull on him like he's standing still just sucks. Still won tho, but I flew past my exit on 60fwy and had to take the next one and circle back.

gonna get some custom forged wheels. get more points when I go to show as well as I can really get the color i like for the wheel. :D

another reason would be weight saving thus improving the handling and saving the tires more because there's gonna be less weight push down on each tire.

as a veteran of car shows, i can tell you wheels won't net you many points. if you're getting new wheels, make sure you get a set that pleases you, not the judges.

you wanna save tires? get a speedybenz camber kit.

Keep the Carlsson look man, it's all 'original' and it looks beautiful!!

FrankW

just ordered the new wheels. coming in 3-4 wk. Carlsson wheel's gotta go. PM me.

1/16 BE's one of my favorite wheels. Now that I had'em time to move on to something that I had my eye on recently. HAHA

besides I don't like running the same wheels with other people. I've already seen few ppl with 05-06 C230/230k that just got their car and already running these wheels.
