So I was heading to North Sydney to have a coffee with Droooz and an E60 M5 comes flying past me in the Sydney Tunnel. We were just by the exit, so I hit POWER and cautiously caught up to him (there was some traffic around) ;)
We get past some traffic onto a fairly open road, with some mild corners. He starts to accelerate and so do I :P We both ended up accelerating at about the same time as we both ended up waaaaaay ahead of the other traffic :D
The M5 was in the left lane (slow lane), so I slot in behind him, then he changes from the left lane to the right. We were both very cautious of the traffic around us, but he had the speed to move inbetween cars at a rapid pace, while I was left behind :( Then a Monaro joined in the pursuit :D The M5 was being chased by 2 LS1's and we were all having a blast :banana:
Then the Monaro left and it was M5 and R8 crusing into yet anoth tunnel. He got up beside me and he smiled, I smiled too and we both waved at each other :P The strange/cool thing was, the driver appeared to be in his late 30's, maybe early 40's !!!! I was happy to see him, USING his car!
He got in front of me, then slowed down in the left lane, I was in the middle lane and as I got up to his open window, I had my car in 2ns gear and I gave the throttle a stab :lol: He smiled then I gestured for him to put his foot down, what happened next astonished me......
The M5 was probably in 3rd gear, he HIT IT and it took off like a rocket :o :o Then he chirped the rear tires as he upshifted :bunny: I must say, I now have much 'Respect' for the M5 B)
