If you have no plate on your new car, is there any possible way to get nailed for doing something illegal in your car if there is no actual officer? (speeding past a police picture taking machine, running a red light, going through fastrack on a bridge, etc etc) I can't figure out any identifying mark that could be used against the driver

just a random question seeming as how two cars at the house won't have plates for a few months....and no i wouldnt run a red light or whatever

they'll both have temp tags, no? even temp tags have identifying marks on them that are traceable. if you do something bad enough, they could always just go into dmv and see what new/used cars were recently purchased matching your color, model and go through that way...but as i said, they'd really only do that if say you did a hit-n-run or something to that effect.
