Got to realllllly disagree with you on this one. I am from an area that is not too far from Buffalo and the wings out there are so much better. Good and fried with so many different choices in sauces. Yeah it has ok scenery in there, but not worth all of the excitement IMHO.

Interesting... I've never been over to Buffalo before. I'll have to try that sometime. I do think that over all the restaurants in the west coast that I've tried (and I usually order wings if they have any) I think Hooters is pretty good.
On a side note, in my youthful days, I once as a whole big plate of Hooters wings in one sitting. Big plate = 50 wings :D

In high school, one of my friends Dad owned a bar that served wings. On Tuesday nights it was 10 cent wing night, and well we got that deal everytime ;)
I went there with 4 other friends, all close to my size and we ate $40.00 worth of wings - yeah 400 of them ;) Needless to say we all felt a little bit ill afterwards. I miss those days of being able to eat incredible amounts of food and not have it totally hit the bottom line.

i'm sure youre right. its like comparing brother's (korean resturant on geary) with korean resturants in korea (i think theyre just called resturants there). nonetheless, brothers is good korean eats.
for me, the excitement is more a factor of something NEW to do in sf. been here most my life and, damn, shait has gotten so boring. three b's adds some interest also.:D

For mass market wings...I like Cluck U (or universty chicken...as they seem to have changed it to). Different animal all together from Anchor bar Buffalo Wings though.
Kinda like comparing carolina pulled pork to Texas Ribs...most people call both BBQ (and some would include grilling burgers in that category) but really, they're completely different.
On the other hand, Cheryl looooves Hooters wings way more than my cluck U wings...so hey, guess there's room for both.
Hey Brabus, have you gone to Cluck U's by SCU? If not, we've got to make it a GTG sometime.

The Korean tour bus comapnies have some under-the-table arrangement with these guys (food isn't bad - but service SUXXX if you're not Korean... even if one TIPS >40% and comes back again!!!)

Cheryl is a cool girl for liking Hooters wings :) My old gf used to as well :)
Yes, I've heard many, many times about Cluck U, but I've never actually been there before.... Maybe I should try that super hot ~deadly~ wing contest they have!
