Have any of you ever checked this out? Looks pretty informative. Any other suggestions on a place that has all of these types of lessons.

Yeah I should have posted on that one, but I was wondering if people had any specific experience with this one and is it worth paying for it or are the other sites just as informative. I will read more of those links.

I'm pretty sure you can find any information you are looking for by reading any of the free photo forums, or by asking questions here.

But of course the benefit of these classes are everything is structured...at least they should be.

IMHO a good photo book to give you the basics of exposure and depth of field is an excellent start. With a digital camera, you can learn a great majority of what these classes will teach you.

Once the basics are out of the way, you can concentrate on the hard part...a personal vision. The bad part about school is it only teaches you what they think is important. But there's so much more that can be learned through self-exploration. I seriously give props to digital technology as back in the film days learning was so much slower and expensive!

I agree with what Kam said. I have yet to take a photography class, although I am an art major. Learning all the tech stuff is the easy part, and can be done through online research. The application of what you've learned will be on your part either way (through a class or not).
