Did it rain recently where you are? Maybe it's time to go hunt chantrelles!

Thank you for the comments!

There are no color/brightness/contrast adjustments at all, Shots with Canon lens are cropped a little, being 50mm, and it's working distance, I just could not fill the frame up with those little guys. Sigma lens shots are uncropped at all.

To be honest with you, that 18-200mm DC Sigma is a very pleasant lens to work with (day and night different from 28-300mm DG I sent back), its very much consistent, good working range, nice hood included... It's been on the camera pretty much most of the time since I got it 2 weeks ago.

I'm sure sometime next year I would want to sink some money into an "L" or similar, but for now - I will learn all I can with this $300 Sigma =)

Regards,
D

P.S. Renn - yep, 2 days of rain and all kinds of mushrooms popped up all around the house =)

Man...I've been waiting for something similar to happen over here...there hasn't been a decent shrooming in quite some time.

There are almost twice as many today, just took a little walk, you can almost crush them just about every other step you take:
