Before the US members celebrate the 4th, don't forget that Karl Benz shocked the world the day before when he introduced the world's first motor car, built from the ground up as opposed to an adapted carriage by Herr Daimler.

Funny, and on the 4th of July 2001 I took delivery of my first new Benzo! It was a great day, at the time ;)
But now the 23rd of June is my day to celebrate :)
