Here are a few shots from last night's sunset at Brown's Point. I had to wait until the sun had disappeared behind the horizon line to get these shots. With all the cloud action on the horizon, the light was defracted and bouncing off of everywhere. These shots are much cleaner.

No HDR used here :) Just a 3-stop Neutral Density filter and a few contrast layers in photoshop:)

HaFaMaCa: Yep, shooting at 12mm on a 1.6x cropped APS-C so thats ~ 18mm full frame

Ahh, I guess I am old-school in what I meant. Meaning to me that's super high-dynamic range, but i understand there is a technique with multiple exposures/masking for that. Normally this kind of contrast is impossible without the aid in some post production.

Nonetheless, great images!
