The Kleemann intercooler sits between the cylinder banks, directly on top of the engine. It's probably one of the most innovative intercooler designs on the market (they own the patent) and is the secret behind their impressive gains with relatively modest boost.

Haven't been to the track yet.
I usually end up forgetting about it. I'll get to the track some day soon and post my times even though I'm crappy at 1/4 drags.

The intercooler is mounted in front of the radiator, the super charger is mounted under the manifold and sets between the two cylinder banks (See pic below).

That is just amazing man, a CLK55 to begin with and such a wealth of top notch mods on top of it.. amazing looking car. The bumper looks real nice, sort of a newer E55's and CLK55's look. Very nice on your car.

No HRE"s for me!
I had them on my Vette and I wasn't impressed. Way too much money (IMO). They are very heavy wheel, and there are better looking wheels out there for less $.

What's up? Car looks nice man. The pic you have with your front bumper off shows the Kleemann IC mounted in front of the radiator, does the car run warmer now than before? Or, does the two fans cool it off sufficiently enough to not notice any change.

Just wondering.....I'll be joining the club in the first week in June:D

The Car stays cool. I have not noticed any temp changes even with the temp out side approaching the 100 mark.
Taking the Kleemann plunge? You'll never feel the same about MB's again. It's pleasure to drive.

Hey Tim, did you have to do anything with the Expressions front-end for it to fit the IC, or is there enough space?

I can't wait to get this car down to Englishtown afterwards for some 1/4 mile times :D :D :D
