get replica, your car does not have anything real amg on it so no point in wasting money on a real kit....it would just rip you off

Hmmm, I would probably go for the body kit.

Go with a kit. I voted real AMG, but this is not worth it if you can find a quality replica kit.

Well fake AMG kit, if like Alon's situation, that would mean remove the bumper support thing bar that goes across, meaning that basically, the car will get no protection....so I may stick to real deal for the sake of goodness... :)

I was not trying to be mean, or dissing!!! I mean you can get the replica kit for almost less than half of what the real Amg front bumper costs, and lets not forget the side skirts and the rear...that is some very big money and the looks are really not that important to me if i have to pay that much money...i already love Mikes car how it looks now...its very classy!!

Keep saving for a genuine AMG kit (if you can find one!)...
If not...best way to do it paint your grill frame + insert, cladding, skirts, and bumpers black...get a flat good badge...and do some ICE mods...that way you get the best of both worlds! :)

Option 5
Paint the lower panels of your car and forget about a body kit! :D I mean, think about it dude, you'll probably loose your front bumper the day you put it on (your car being lowered and all) :)
On a side note: I've neary ripped my front bumper off about a dozen time already, still not used to it :o  :(
Seriously, I'd vote for getting some exterior body accent enhancements. You already have a decent HU and a usable trunk setup, just finish off the package w/ a kit.

you know, I'm thinking... I Dont want no fake ass kit for the sake of durability. I want the real deal. But that's too much money I could spend elsewhere. I think I'll just paint the lower body black and then do other mods. That's good enough.

You need a bodykit for sure. Doesn't matter if its AMG or Brabus or Lorinser or Wald. Your car looks medium rare now
Real kit, fake kit... all the same durability. If one gets into an accident, you think Polyurethane will protect your ass more than Fiberglass?

I don't get it, you have replica wheels (which look amazing on your car), but yet now you start downing replica? How much better is the real AMG kit from a replica really when taking into account the purpose of the kit on your car?
Don't let the whole "real deal" thing get in your way from modding your car. Let's look at the function your bodykit will have on your car.....it's not for aerodynamics, and it's not an AMG car in the first place, so why do you have to get a real AMG kit when no one will really care except haters? Build your car for yourself, meaning that if you truly think that you HAVE to have real AMG, which your wheels aren't already anyway, then don't get it. But don't be discouraged just because someone tells you replica aint good. Look at the votes, most people are telling you replica over real AMG because they know that the real AMG kit is a waste of money unless your car is real AMG to begin with. But looking at your car on the exterior, it's ready for a kit IMO.
Now that being said, I still think your car would look much better all black even if you stick with not wanting a kit. Later, Scott

look at it this way....if your car was stock hight then it would be ok to get a real kit, but since your car is really low, im sure you will be scraping it here and there....why pay so much money to be scraping your kit...then when u want to sell it u will not be able to get much for it..that is why replica is better

Very true... I have a AMG front bumper... it's fiberglass... ain't matter.

Scott, unlike wheels, real or fake in bodykit means crap or quality. I've seen some crappy ass kit that were fake b/c they are harder to duplicate than wheels I guess.
Take Alon for example. His insurance paid for an Erebuni kit, and b/c he had a concour type of shop that does high end $$$ cars, they made it look good. BUT they had to remove the bumper beam support thing underneath, so if he crashes, bye bye car...and I Dunno about him.
So, I wanted a real kit that would allow me not to have to f-up my car.
NOW, I do have my homie giving me a killer deal on a kit (a fake one), but I have to double check on how this gets mounted. IF it's ghetto, then nah, i won't take it.
Elvis you're right, it's gonna be a bitch driving now....
So yea, I'm not putting down replica kits for the hell of it like Vader does, but because quality REALLY is lesser than the REAL deal.
But like Hank said, polyurethane and fiberglass probably won't be much different in a crash.
So we'll see.

If I were you Doc, I'll just replace the bumper. You already got the wing so why bother for a side skirt and rear bumper.
No one would notice your rear bumper since you got the muffler.
Your car is low enough so no need for side skirt to make it look more lower. And the rest of the money u save just send it to me
via pay pal for consultation fee. :P :D ;) :) Listen to me.... listen to me....... listen to meeeeeee............ :ninja:  :lick: :cheek:

I realize that some replica body kits are crap...and some aren't. I guess it just depends. Just do what JRE said...;)
So where's the alleged Paypal payment? :)

Why do a "show car quality trunk setup"? Were you planning on showing it? If I were to do ICE, I would just do what sounds good, but no need to go overboard... unless your serious about sound... (so there is a compromise of sorts somewhere in there)
I voted to paint the bottom panels of the car, but hey, thats just what I would do.

Why put a poll up if you're not going to listen to it?? Most people are saying fake body kit, but you're so opposed to it... then why put up the option?

While I will not mod to please people, It's always good to listen to people's opinions :)
Just trying to see what the people would do. Doesn't mean I will do it.
