I saw a nice antique in Denver couple months ago... a 1970 280..in super condition with 80k original miles few weeks ago.. It's sold for ONLY $3500. The same seller also sold a 1980 500SEL for only $1500. I believe a combine retail value on these are over $15000. You simply have to find the 'right buyer.' Both car were sold an hour before I got there... :( :( :(

I took my car in for service in Jax and there was a dark blue SWB it was perfect and I asked sombody about it and they said that It had been sitting in the garage for 8 years and the whole feul system had to be replaced and was on order from Germany..
