In 1984, AMG brought three Mercedes-Benz 500SL convertibles to the United States before they were finished on the German Assembly line. This car is one of those three Mercedes. The AMG modifications to the V8 5.4 liter engine move the car from 0 to 60 in just 4.7 seconds. This white on tan leather convertible is a truly unique and gorgeous luxury sports car.

This phenomenal Benz has the rare AMG package with flared fenders, quarters, and AMG Hammer motor. It is equipped with leather interior, and all the power you can handle. The original MSO was $128,000.

I so want either of those, but more so the MAFIA one.

This Kruse auction is in Indiana, not too far from where I live. I am considering missing a day of classes to see these cars in person.

Old school (pre-1995 Merceds buy-out) AMG cars are sooooo cool! Of course the 1995 and newer ones are too, but I just love the old ones! See sig...

I'm not telling you to miss school but if you deside to take picture, see if you can get them to open the hood for some of them.

Reminds me of my dads old 1984 500 SEL original AMG that he had. He bought it for $5,000 two years ago and actually got rid of it! That thing was a rocket!
