Anyone have an idea why my ABS light comes on from time to time? After I stop the engine and start it again, it then is off? I recently had new pads installed (1 month ago) and new sensors installed. Funny thing, this was happening before the pads were changed too!

Could it be that my car is screaming for a RENNtech Big Brake Upgrade??? :smoke: :D

could be that one of the ABS-sensors are going bad...Our ABS-sensor went bad on the 1995 S320 which also triggered the ETS...it cost a $200-300 for the sensor plus one hour labor...

Clean the ABS sensors. They get cruded up and deliver false signals to the abs computer. Clean the contacts and see how it goes before you dish out money for new ones.

Also could be the brake switch- located behind the pedal. This wears over time and will cause the ABS indicator to light up.
