I just changed the bumper lights in my car. I saw these a few months ago, but was unsure if they would fit, but they did, so I put them in.

What do you guys think? I personally love em. they are definately a little different than the old ones, and look cool as hell at night.

Night shots to follow later...

Very nice dude...

I like it a lot...

If you're Carlsson fans so much, I'd like to suggest change your wheels to Carlsson 2/6 original..

I know they have been discontinued a long time ago, and it probably hard to find a set.

But your car with those 2/6 original wheels... would be one of the coolest W124 in my book :D:D:D:D

That looks awesome!!! Those are exactly the ones I would use if I had a Gen1 AMG bumper! Are they PIAA? Everthing on your car looks exellent, although if it were my choice I would have kept the smoke/clear corners as visually make the car look wider:)

they arent piaa... they are APC lights....

As for the wheels, I'm not a fan of two piece wheels. My wheels though 17", look like 18's because of the lack of lip.

If I were going to change wheels, I'd go with the original AMG Hammer Wheels in 17x8 et 28. but as it stands now, Got more important things to spend my money on, like bills.

I agree, what are they? Also, what type of euro lights do you have on your car? They look exceptionally cool. And there are driving lights to them.

alon, where did u get your bodykit from

Ashman
07-24-2003, 11:26 PM
Its an erebuni kit...

I'd have to look up the name of the place I bought it, But I can't recommend anyone buy one unless you want to do some major work to get it fitted.

Also the mounting points all need to be reinforced or they will break off fairly easily.

But it looks nice thats the key.

Quality is ok, and on par with other fiberglass kits.

Alon,

Those came out nice.. That style fog light coupled with your euros actually gives the car a more updated look. You got me nervous about the body kit though. I placed an order for an
Erebruni kit last week. Was it that difficult to put on? I'm in
L.A. do you mind telling me where you got yours installed at
and how much am I looking at. My first initial idea was just to
install and paint match the body kit but if it's going to be
over a G, I might as well get the whole car repainted.
thanks,
~Cali

THe erebuni kit was installed by lasky coachworks in west LA. On Federal just south of olympic.

It should be around $700 or so for paint and install I think, but I am not sure as I had it done when they were repairing the rear end damge, so they threw the kit on.

Let me warn you, that the bumper supports have to be removed in order for the kit to be put on.

Tinman, The euros are the depo brand. I chromed the inside with chrome tape, and put on the kamei eyelids.

other than that, didn't change anything ont hem, except add 4 led superwhite type 194 city light bulbs, and some super blue h4 bulbs at 55w.

Thanks for the info Alon..

Here you go TinMan ...You said you wanted 500E euros here they go. Good guailty glass lenses not plastic and they come with the connectors which is important. Most don't include the pin connectors like the cheaper ImportVision euros.

Now consider a (Daniel Stern) 10 ga. wiring +40A relay upgrades, to increase brightness.

Ashman
07-25-2003, 11:38 AM
hehe already done that scott. :)

Got the relays wired direct off the battery.

Even changed battery for a blue top optima as well.

Without the relays, the lights would be very dim. with them they are very bright.

I may still decide to rewire the headlights off of relays too, havent yet decided if I will dot hat yet.

I also plan on rewiring the reverse lights on relays and the city lights, but we shall see.

Hey Ashman,

Nice car!

2 questions: are the lights projector or reflector?

Also: it looks almost like the blue inner light looks like real HID. Is this how it looks in life too?
