Seems like my MAS is acting up but I haven't had time to pull the codes.
You guys think this is the MAS?
The check engine light only comes on and goes into limp mode when I WOT (Wide Open Throttle). When I gas it hard.
Car idels funny too..it vibrates at times but the car drive smooth.

Well...the i'm suspect on the MAS cause I changed it about a year ago. I never changed the fuel filter or 02 sensor yet.

How many miles on your car again? One way to tell of the 02 sensors (yes there are two) have gone, is if you fuel consumption has gone up as of late. Change the fuel filter, it takes about 20 minutes and the part is about 30 bucks, you will have to get under the car though. Other things to check would be the wiring harness (did we ever find out about the MB goodwill replacement on this?), plugs (bosch supers, not platinum), coil ends (10 bucks each and the fail quick on our cars) and finally coils.

Coil ends are the plastic piece that fits on the end of the coil and connects it to the plug underneath. They are a known problem on the M104 cars and cost about 10 USD each.
You can get then here:

parts are like $10 each coil end (X3) and labor was free cause I did it myself. It's easy...just like changing spark plugs.
