Hi
to all who have oem xenon in there w202
I have bought some ballast for my xenon mod now (used)
wthout the bracket ,I can't order that bracket by mercedes so need to make one.
has anyone some pics from it?

The bracket can be easily made from a variety of materials, but preferably, a strip of sheet metal such as sheet steel that can be purchased from Home Depot or LOWE's will do the trick.
Cut a 3/4 to 1 inch strip and drill two holes, one one each opposing end of the strip.
Bend the strip around the shape of the ballast. I am assuming that you are using the Hella OEM Ballasts, but if you are not, then you need to see how large and what shape the actual ballast is in because there are different manufacturers of this key component and the shapes and sizes do vary.
I put OEM Bosch Xenons on my 98 C-Class about two years ago that I bought from Bekkers and did just that.
Really simple job that only takes a few minutes.

The only pictures I could find on this compu are the ones made by Scorchie of his C43...I have the ballast pictures of my own car on my laptop...scroll through that next sunday mike...and don't be so impatient ;) .

stupid question.. how much better are the xenon headlights vs. the reg and how do they fit and look from the Bekkers place?? Any woes... worth the $$... anyone have used ones for sale?
