that is what it is supposed to envoke. They are trying to get back to the classic lines of the 911. The current 996 is something else altogether. With the new 911 (supposedly to come out in 2005 as an 06' model), they will be bringing back the large flared rear fenders, classic round headlamps, and cockpit design.

you are forgetting the 928...although missing the bulbous fenders, is still a "slant"

the ducts infront of the rear wheels remind me of the carrera gt sort of..im not a fan of the current turbo ducts, i think the c4s looks better.

how come "the next turbo" doesn't have a porsche badge? hmm... photoshop?

I'm not too much of a fan of the large chickenwire type black mesh around the lower intake areas, but I'm sure it would keep chickens from running in there because the intakes are so huge

This isn't photoshop as there are numerous photos of this vehicle going through the curves. It's a disguised Porsche something...best guess is the new 997 Turbo.

Normally factory disguised vehicles do not wear the badges on their test drives.
