I'm looking to paint the calipers on my metalic scarabe green '99 Saab 9-5. I've narrowed the choices down to Silver or Gold. List your pick.

if you want to paint, paint them either silver or red, gold, is just too damn ghetto

well the car is an olive greenish with a gold sheen to it, so red is definitely not happening. but I suppose the gold might look a little ghetto...

FYI - when you are posting about your Saab, it would be more appropriate to post it under Autotalk and Motorsports since it does not involve a Benz.

Hmm, this is tricky. You want advise on what color to paint your calipers, I'll move this to 'Wheels Brakes & Suspension' ;) Even though that area is normally for BNZ cars only....

Ahhhhhhhhh thank you. To be honest, I didn't really know where to put it, so I just asked my bro (it's his fault!!! wah.) I even asked if I should since Sven isn't a Benz...:embarr:
thank you for not...doing something awful to me! :Paranoid:
oh, also...is that really scarabe green? weird. I think that's what they call my color...but that pic is definitely different...I believe my bro posted a pic of my car here...

I still say red. I dont think it needs to "match" the car persay. Red is a good color because of its sportiness. Its tried and true. Gold seems a little too "bling bling" for me. Silver and black would be "ok" ... this is just my opinion.

silver. It'll go nicely with the wheels, and will add some 'sportiness' to the car without being overly sporty. It doesn't perform like a ferrari, red won't do!
