anyone know how you would go about painting the housing of the euro headlights black? I know Alon chromed the housing in his. I just want to know how to open up the headlights without breaking them. Also would it be the same procedure with the corner lights? Thanks guys.

it's pretty easy to do, you need to cook the light assembly in the oven for a couple of minutes and then remove the lens
then you reheat and put them back on
the problem is that the beams loose like 75% of the effectiveness with this mod. It looks good tho
I hope you have good fogs to compensate!
check out the web there are detailled tutorials on this!

i might need to take out the lens to CLEAN it caz i have one headlight assembly replaced ones and now one looks a bit yellowish (since is older) than the other (i think is just the glass part) so i might try taking the whole thing out cleaning it and see if t helps

if they are euros, there are 4 locking tabs you lightly pry up to remove the lens. if they aare US units, they are glued on, and more difficult.
Painting the plastic parts black, would be hard.
