#1 is made by Hella and #2 is OEM. one drawback to #1 is that the bottom clear strip is where the running lights are... so the interior of the light housing has a red reflector but it'll still glow red.. might be a little weird. #2 is cool but its drawback is that it may be way too subtle.

get the hella ones, but smoke them...just the red area..they look good....get the wheels in the second picture too, they look awsome

ya smoked would be cool but the rest of my car (side indicators and bumper lights) are clear so thats why im going for clear all over.

i like number 2...it looks less busy and compliments the car more than it distracts you from the rest of the car like number 1.

ehhhhhh ok so despite the poll results i'm going with option #2. i have a big problem with option one having a pinkish hue when the lights are on and i wouldn't be happy with how they would look. so i just got the OEM tails with the red/clear/red/red

and had they not included the bulb harnesses and correct bulbs i would be far more pissed than i am about the wait time. but then again they did offer me a refund. not much i can complain about. i'll post pics thursday when i install them.
