Whatever happened with the carbon fiber hood group buy for the 202 that people were yappin about like a month ago. I said I was in and never heard anything of it again. Did I miss the train or something?

I was waiting on the preliminary reports on the quality and such. Havent gotten any word yet. Autorice was saying he could ship them (maybe he is working with this guy too) and the hood cost was ~$500. There was also something said along the line of 10+ buyers.

I live in Seattle, maybe I can check it out for myself. I'll inform others if anything develops.

hey guys.. actually, i was supposed to look into these hoods, but $$ and time have proven to be quite restrictive on my motivation to mod. Anyways, if this is still something that ppl are very interested in ordering, either me or J__ will go down and talk to the owner about our needs, and see if he can accomodate us.

(fyi: just to illustrate how restictive time ahs been for me, I haven't been able to clear enough time int he past 3 weeks to install the Brabus muffler that's still sitting in my trunk.) :(

lol.. first the rieger kit..then the CF hood... :P :P :P I saw VIS CF hood..it isn't so bad. Perhaps I should go that route. :)

lol... sorry about the Rieger GB :P I'm still planning on getting that CF DTM splitter...

I've also been thinking, I might as well go ahead and get the CF hood when I get the chance, and then give you guys my testimonial on it... better I spend a few extra bucks than to have a whole bunch of you ready to whack me with potentially substandard hoods at the next Autofest. :P

I'll keep you all posted on my progress.
