Hey i was so impressed by your website that i joined so dont beat me up too bad if i ask questions from time to time. Like all gear heads i've gone through alot of phases: the japanese cars (1989 supra liftback) to good ol american muscle (92' Mustang) ok not so muscular lol. It wasnt until i drove my first Benzo did i realize i wasted alot of time on unworthy cars. I own a W 126 a sweet 1985 380se its indestructable but its starting to show its age im driving crap until i get the funds to fully restore my baby. I plan to upgrade the rear hydrolic suspension fully black out the paint and tint the windows as for rims im torn between powder coat or chrome. If any of you guys have any suggestions as far as styling or performance im all ears. Examples in Pictures, websites etc. appreciated thanks.:beard:

Excellent, the only problems i have is:

1. Finding a good manual for my vehicle

2. Finding a site or a shop in new york that carries or has experience with body kits for the w126 4 door nothing stupid just a nice flush front/rear bumper set maybe some side skirts .

www.carshine.com.au (http://www.carshine.com.au) :D Yes, it is an Australian site, but, I'm sure you'll beable to find some/most of this stuff in the US! :)
I owned a W126 380 SEC (1985 model), man I loved that car! Repair bills were rediculous though. Then I bought an ML320, man I loved that car! Mods were rediculously priced though (living in Australia has its disadvantages)
Solution = Bought some 'local muscle' :D

But enough about me, welcome and post often! :)

p.s. I've got a few pics of my SEC, nothing special. Only had clear corners AMG copies and a Momo Wood/Leather steering wheel ;)

Now that is luxury. You really cant go wrong with the coupe im thinking about parting the 380 and getting something more suitable for a young man such as myself.:werd: Once again thumbs up you're a good role model for us beginners.
