I just got some new ICE in my car....
Here is what I have...
Alpine HU and Changer ( Old School and its going to be changed soon - Came in the car)
Infinity Reference Series 5.25" seperates int he back, and 6.5" Seperates in the front...
Audio Control Four.1i for the interior speakers level controls - given to me by a friend...
Lightning Audio 300 x 4 4 channel amp for the infinities - Hits them great.
1 farad cap for the subs.
Old Amp and Sub - DHD 2 channel 450W with Lanzar 10" in Isobaric ported box. throught he first aid kit.
New Amp and Subs - Dual fosgate 15" DVC subs, with punch 800.2 Amp.
Outcome - Sounds amazing.
Pics when I clean up my wiring and rebuild the box to fit my trunk better.
I just got the fosgate woofers, box and amp today from a customer. he took it out of his escalade and I just said I'll give you $50 for the woofers and box. he went for it. so I said I'll give you another 50 for the amp. he went for it. so all in all, I got the subs and amp for $100!!!!!!

Doc Panhandler aint got nothin on me thats for sure.
And don't even ask about pics, cause I havent built my amp racks, or rebuilt the box so it fits the trunk better. its justa fraction too high to fit the way I want it, so its on its back with the woofers firing up at the moment.
My 10" Hit great, but the 15's are sick as hell.
In anycase, Just thought I would share.
HU I am getting will be pioneer premier 840 or 850, with XM tuner. no cd changer.
For me I don't really care for screens and tv's and dvd or nav stuff in my car, I just like my music.
I may be adding a rear view mirror screen and rear vision camera though. it does pay to work at a stereo shop sometimes...
Also new tint goes on soon! :)
pics will come in a couple of weeks when I am done rewiring everthing and making it look like a clean install, as right now everything is a mess.....
I cant believe the deal I got on these speakers, box and amp.... I just through the prices out for the hell of it and the guy went for it, so I wrote him a check right there and claimed my new goods... Had to hook em up tonight...
All in all, my system has cost me less than $400.00 for everything. the infinities only cost me $150. the subs and amp and box $100, the audio control - free, the cap - free, the lightning audio amp - free.
Hu will be free too - friend owes me it for doing some computer work for him....
I did pay for the 10" woofer and that amp, but thgat was still only $200.00
I guess I just lucked out ont he deals on this, because I am extremely pleased with the sound.... The woofers, box and amp alone are worth at least a grand or more.
