I was about to start installing xenon kit when I came to realize that my battery in the trunk! :o DOH!!! And the kit has two wires that have to be connected to the battery. I try connecting the kit without those two wires, and the xenon bulb wouldn't come on. Then I connected those wires to the battery by using some extra wires, and the bulb came on.
Question. Is there anything under the hood that I can connect to to get the same effect?! Any other solution? Need your help guys! I'm confused.

why does it have to come directly from the batt ?? caz of votage stuff??
caz i think all you need is any 12v life (or power line so to say) and you should be good to go .....unless there is specific instruction that tells you that it MUST be a seperate and direct connection to the batt...and the 12v power cannot be share with other stuff (so to say 'tapped' from a source)

For your information, front of fuse bow in engine bay at left side of mine W202 (1998) (I belive standard of all 202) there is a positive connection to 12V, I belive coming directly from alternator. It's a permanent 12V.
It's under a black palstic cover.

This particular kit requires connection to the battery.
I don't know what to do. I have a C140 (not W202). Someone told me I can connect to the alternator. Well... I don't know where it is. And the question is does the alternator have the (-) and (+) on it I can connect to? Xenon Kit requires (-) and (+) connections. Or is (-) just a ground connection that can go to the body of the car?

Try connecting wires to your fuse box that turns on when the ignition is on.
Have you tried just wiring it to your stock harness? What is the fuse rating for your headlamp? 15A?
When I had the retrofits on the 210, I just connected + and - to the corresponding connectors that went into the bulb. Worked fine for 1+ years... then i sold them to firstkill and now he's running it the same way on his 203 coupe.

Please how do you pass new cable into headlamp, keeping waterproof tightness? I'm planning to install relay with bigger section cable? And I'm wondering where put relay and pass cable!
Please
