What would happen if i took the stuff that muffles down the noise in my ML55 muffler? Would it lose power and will it harm the car itself?

I dont quite understand you. Do you mean to drill through the muffler? Got rid of the catacombs?

You mean remove your resinator. You will gain power and that v8 will growl. It needs to be done at a muffler shop.

on ML320, 350, 430, there is no resonators. There is only ONE HUGE H muffler. I cannot say the same for the AMG line up. :)

ive done it before on motorcycles, but not sure about on cars. on a bike, it makes the pipe real loud.
