as would i. it seems like the best all around car of the bunch. though as i get older interiors become more and more important to me.. theres no denying that the R32 owns the other two inside hands down.

man this would have been a very very very hard decision if i had to chose....for the speed i would defenitivley want the subaru...but it still looks like a race car looking for everyday driving....so in that manner id take the golf...ahh i dont know..

There's no denying it, the only one that actually looks good is the R32 (mainly because it looks 99% the same as any other golf), the other two look like riced-out tokyo taxicabs (which is essentially what they are).

If I could be blindfolded in between my house front door and the driver's door I would choose the Subaru :)

I'd pick the Evo first, then scooby, then R32 (I like bigger cars)

and the evo wins in all shootout in diffrent magazines, even if the STi has 300hp. All testers prefers it (even if it's like .1 sec slower on the 0-60)

hmmm, that review seems biased towards the R32.
I would choose the Evo, STi then R32. I prefer a fast 4-door and i dont like cars with 'wrong-wheel drive'. R32 is nice, but it doesnt give enough 'ummph' in my opinion.

I can tell you from experience that the EVO is a cool ride. Ive driven one about 100 miles total (buddies). They are like a crotch rocket bike w/ 4 wheels! They are more responsive & balanced than any Corvette. They can hang w/ Porsches in the corners. The Evo has 'instant center' steering. When you move the wheel even a hair the car responds. It is actually a job to drive the car. It will keep you awake. Ride is Very stiff but not harsh. There are Evos here at HRP running 12.90's @109 w/ just boost controllers & exhaust!

Here is the downside!3rd & 5th gear syncros are messing up on alot of 'em. My Buddies car has only 3,000 miles on it and had the tranny rebuilt twice!!! He is getting a brand new tranny shipped over here b/c the dealer cannot figure it out. There are reports of tranny problems all over www.evolutionm.net (http://www.evolutionm.net) . Mitsu has had reliability issues since Pearl Harbor???(WWII fighter plane)

I sat in the STI here in Houston @Gillman Subaru. The guages that come in the car are enough reason for me to want to drive it every day. They have glowing needles & script like the LS400 lexus. You just have to go sit in one & turn the key over to see 'em to understand. The hood scoop actually impairs forward vision! You will have to slide the ole credit card at the local stereo shop for some tunes though?? STI's are only appreciated best in person. The Mag pics dont do 'em justice. They are awesome imo? Evo has it's own look - so does the STI. I would have to get a black STI. They come in blue, white, silver, or black w/gold or silver wheels as a no cost choice.

R32's are really a nice package - Does Nuespeed make a blower for that thing anybody?? If so I might consider the R32 over both of the 4 doors. The interior is just beautiful.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid57/p303a5aa0417e1dda3ca8304f7563b5fb/fc6adc0a.jpg

Remember guys....from 0 to 120mph the STi is 4 seconds faster then the Evo.... no replacement for Displacement!!! Ive done my research and the STi has far more potential then the Evo. I would still take the STi, it is such a sweet car. The R32 would be my 2nd pick b/c i beleive of all those cars, it has the most potential + VWs always have a bad ass interior!!! Honest opinion.....the Evo is nice, but for the money, i would get something else...and i dont like the atlezzas on there:D

Dude, all of thoose cars are not about strait line driving, but do what you want with it, the Evo is also 4 seconds faster ON A TRACK than the STI, See Top Gear MAg international issue, On the TG track Evo beat STI by running a 1:31 and STI ran a 1:35. But if Strait line racing is that important yeah whatever

opinions are like bellybuttons  if you wanna go fast in a strait line get a z28 camaro and build it up. the sti has more top end because its a 6speed, come on thats not hard to see. i havent driven the car then how can you comment, o btw my m coupe will smoke all 3 of those cars :P
