Please guys, do you think I can utilize 100W bulb for H7 low beam and H1 high beam in my W202 without any problem with the generator?
PS: I've added relay, bigger fuse and gauge 10 cable.
thanks a lot for any help

i think you can use a 100w bulb even without adding the rely or fues caz i have done that b4 on my w202 (matter of fact is a 135w bulb i was using) and it worled fine
(i think the bulb goes out a lot quicker though (like 12-14mos)
the alt and stuff...dun even sweat about it ....i am sure is all fine and good

Yea. You will want to run relays and extra wires because the stock wires are of very small diameter and the rotary switch inside the car is directly connected to the lights. If you draw too much current through the stock wiring, you run the risk of melting the wires or worse, melting the knob which could be a fire hazard.
If you have done all of this, the alternator and battery will be up to the task.

Yes I've done/doing this. New 10 gauge wires directly to the headlamp socket. Internal headlamp wires are still stock but, as already confirmed me it's not a problem because of very short lenght
