In the past year, The Wheel Supply has made a name for itself in the European tuning community. Specializing in the tuning of European marques like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, VW, etc. allowed TWS to find its little niche in the ever-expanding aftermarket industry. However, it does not alienate itself from cars from the Far East, so it is not uncommon to see NSX’s and Solaras being worked on in the service bays. As its name suggests, TWS specializes in the wheels/tires/suspension/brakes portion of tuning, and does a damn good job at that. Whether you want a mild drop or want your ride slammed to the ground, TWS is surely able to accommodate your requests.

What sets the shop apart, however, is the friendly interaction you get from the employees that work there. The customer service is top-notch, with the staff doing everything they can to ensure that your needs and requests are met, and they approach your questions and inquiries with an honesty and candidness that is not easy to find nowadays. You can expect to be treated with the same courtesy whether you are simply having a flat tire repaired or if you are outfitting your car with everything available in the Brabus catalog.

To celebrate their one-year anniversary, Sander and the TWS crew decided to throw a little party for their customers. “I wanted to put this on for the customers, because they are the ones who have made this place what it is today,” says Sander.

Attendees were treated to a catered meal of delicious Italian pasta and meatballs as well as the eye candy out in the parking lot. The event was mostly focused on familiar faces hanging out and talking about cars and life as well as meeting new faces and getting to know them and their cars. “That’s what it’s all about,” Sander says when asked how he felt the event went and about his business in general. “It’s just cars. Some people take it so seriously. But it’s about having fun, and that’s how I want it to be.” With that relaxed and honest approach, TWS will be sure to be around for a very long time.

He has a Jeep Grand Cherokee (gotta pick up wheels/tires, etc.!), and the company car is a modded Mini Cooper S
