Official pics of the SLR, notice the difference in appearance from the Vision SLR shown years ago? (headlights, nose, front bumper treatments). I think this looks better! wow! :eek:

Still no pics of the rear or interior, but so far so good!

ive seen the interior....its very sucky and plain...but that is just my taste...the car over all is a heart stoper...it will be a day when i see that thing in person....

The interior that you saw was that of "Vision" SLR years ago (and yes, the interior in that was tacky). These are the official pics of the car that will be released at the end of the year.

Apart from the front visual difference, the doors and side vents are also different.

they should have kept the Vision SLR blink blink mirrors and kept its lower front apron (i like it with those struts/"whiskers" closer together)

...does anyone else think the Vision concept was more aggressive looking?

I did not like the original "whiskers", so I was glad they changed it. The original one had a more aggressive stance due largely to its more slented bonnet/nose and pointy front-end, but that made the car look weird from certain angles.

This car has probably become my favourite production car now. I just wish it had the new 7-speed tranny or those F1 style manuals (not that I can afford the car anyway).

i think they might have changed the height of the front bonnet for crash reasons, new laws in germany dont allow for too much slant/ too low of a nose.

that one looks so much better than the 99 vision SLR....but SL55 all the way....
