W210's... '97 E320 Differenial In An E420?

Wondering if there is a difference in the rear diff. ratio between an E320 (any year) and the one in my brothers '97 E420.

The V8 models have a 2.82 stock ratio while the V6's one is 3.07.
MKB have a differential upgrade for $4,800.

And you would have to have your Speedo re-calibrated

hmm, a 2.82 jump up to 3.07 would def. be noticable. i just did a 3.15 to 3.46 swap in my E46

so the speedo is set off of the rear differential? hmm thanks for this info
