Hi Everyone,

TimeFor here again. I am going to plan another OC tour Night Meet on Jan. 17th 2004. If you attended the last one on Aug 23rd, you know how huge of success it was.

The route will be much like the last one; except for a few areas we had problems with last time. Ie, traffic. Last time we had well over 100 cars and I would like to see this one just as big. As before, we are inviting all the BMW and MB forums… As well as any one else you might know. Directions will be printed out in a much high quantity this time (Sorry about that) and the meet place will be Tustin Market Place again.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven’t been on top of this. I have been very busy with work and winter classes. Anyways, the meet is still on and we will still be taking Santiago Canyon. In light of the tragic death of James on October 4th last year, the caravan will be making a 3rd stop at the crash site to pay respect. You can read more about the incident on the links below. I am told that there is plenty of room to pull over on the road. We will be stopping there for a few moments before we move on. I urge everyone to take it careful on this run. I am going to try my best to keep people from being separated. We now have 3 stopping points, so don’t feel the need to catch up if you fall behind. Also, if you have a radio, please bring it. Radios and cell phone numbers help everyone stay together. Directions will be passed out before we leave.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it right at 6. 6pm is just the meeting time. We are going to start getting ready to leave around 8. For those of you who this is your first meet, Tustin Market place… Old IKEA parking lot. It’s a very large building painted brown and yellow. It’s the first left ones you enter the center. There is a Taco Bell and In and Out in the same lot.

I’ll be posting a lot more as we get closer to the meet. Any questions you can email me though the board. Please tell everyone you know. The bigger the turn out the better. And there is almost no limit on how many cars we can park at Tustin. Everyone is invited. So far I have posted on E46fanatics, Bimmerforums, SoCal Euro, MB World, and Bnzsport. If you know another forum, please tell me.

Thanks
-Jayson

Moving it any earlier and the meet will be too long. We can't leave before 8 because of traffic on the route we are taking. Tustin market place has a pretty good amount of light but unfortunately, yes, it may be a little too dark to get good pics of everyone’s car.

But, on the bright side. Everyone’s car will look cleaner! If you can set the exposure time on your camera, and bring a tripod… you can still get some awesome night shots. I’ll be bringing my camera. And I have over a gig in memory sticks. So I’ll get some nice photos for everyone.

Hahaha - I'm just wary of butthole BMW guy trying to run people over by insisting he parks in the space that everyone is standing in.

Direction to Tustin Market Place.

From Riverside Area. Take 91 West to 55 South. Take 55 South and get on 5 South. After just a few exits, Exit Jamboree Rd.

From LA Area. take 91 east and just take the 5 South down to Jamboree Rd. It’s near Irvine and is right off the 5 freeway to your left.

***Exit Jamboree Rd and turn left. Make a left onto El Camino Real (it’s the first Light after the Freeway). Then turn Left on East Dr and your at the old IKEA building. There is an In and Out in the same parking lot. It’s address is

3020 El Camino Real
Tustin, CA 92782

For those who went, how was it? I decided not to go since it didn't seem like many bnzsprters were going to turn out.
