View Full Version : Engine Cover Removal? W203 C240..

Would anyone here know how to remove the black engine cover from a W203 C240?
I had a look at it tonight and cant see where or how its attached as i I want to remove it for some custom painting!
Anyhelp would be appreciated!! :)

I dont know what it looks like, but if it's anything like mine, it just pulls straight up. It's held down by some sort of clips. Can't break em. just pull up.

I pulled on the cover this afternoon and the front section came lose, but was scared I was going to break something as the sides didn't feel like they were coming up easily... I'l give it another go tomorrow...
Nice engine cover by the way!
I'm open to ideas on trick painting! If anyone has some suggestions feel free to post them up!

Did you get it off? It's quite easy. Just pull up and off :D
Some clips might be stiff if it's never been removed before.

Dont paint, carbon fiber it up :) I want to do that.....

LorinserCClass - carbon fibre would look great! did you mean with the use of the stick on vynal adhesive or get someone to do a proper cf overlay?

I think he meant to get one fabricated out of CF ;)
There are a few shops that do a lot of the Auto Salon custom fab stuff, I'm sure they can help you out! ;)
I am yet to talk to any of them about a silver CF dash inlay though :unsure:
