Does W203 C Class= Fiber Optic Cable?

i have an 04 c class, sedan and i want to know if the car needs fiber optic cable..tweeter is doing an amp+sub install.
has anyone had any problems doing this? does it void the warranty? any electronic problems?
-all im having done is a beauty board and amp show off...thanx!

Not sure exactly what the question is. If you are asking if your cars radio is connected via fiber optics the answer is yes.

tweeter is going to do an install alpine& visonik in my car and they asked me if the car was fiber optic'd... i didnt know...then they said that if it is then i can run into problems with the car (lights going out..emergency signals....) so i want to know if people have ran into that problem with their w203...and if its safe for me to do go ahead with the install.

Yes it is, And its a bullshit bose system.
The car has a interior abiance stystem, if you want base you gotta disconect it or it will automatically shut down your system when it get loud.
The mic is in your rear view mirrior.
Search MBworld w203 audio,, they have directions.
I suggest a whole new head unit.

Personally I wouldn't be too keen to have somebody work on my car's stereo system when they don't even know what is in there from factroy...except for the M-class mercedes uses fiber optic ever since 1999...
