So, I have C32 on order, and I went to the dealership yesterday to purchase it and take it back home. So we go through the whole deal of financing, etc... I get into the car, I look at the dash and it says that I have two malfunctions. One was because teleaid had to be activated (understandable) and the other read: battery/alternator problem (what the freak, this is a brand new car). Since I bought the car in manhattan at the park avenue dealership, I had to drive it towards Lincoln tunnel where the repair shop was. So after sitting in a gangload of traffic to get there, they tested the car out and said that it's an alternator problem and they will have to keep the car overnight. So I'm like, cool, rather this crap happens now then later on. I did get a 2003 E320 with the sport package which was a load of fun to drive.

So i go into the city the next day at 9am with my parents and waited at my parents' office for 7 hours and am still waiting. Right now, they say that the repair is done and they're taking it out to test to make sure everything is good. Hopefully everything comes back good.

Sorry if I ranted, but it's pretty disappointing that a brand new car, especially an AMG has these sort of problems straight from the start. Hopefully this is the last of the problems too.

hmmm....if you have that problem right now when the car is bearly driven other than test driving....im pritty sure something might go wrong again....but then again welcome to the Benz world, where u have to pay hella lot of money to keep such a car in a good condition....

if u got it already congratulations, and i rally hope that there are no other problems, it would really sucks if there were.!!!!

You know what request is next....as soon as u take it home whip out that DIGI, and snap some shots for ur BNZsport crew

You are right though, its better that it happened now rather than later on unexpected. Wow man, a C32...good luck with it and have fun

The Tech (Mechanic) That Did The PDI was to Check out the car Hook up the Star and read and Diag any codes present...(Low Voltage WOULD have Shown up with a CODE!)..and FIX anything else and Test drive it BEFORE the car is Put into service .
Mercedes Pays the Dealer for the Service...I Would Ask if they Forgot:rolleyes: To do the PDI? I Would request a copy of the PDI check sheet to see if in fact it was done...Or ask them to Recheck the PDI...

Woo Hoo, I got my car at around 6:30pm today. Drove it back from NYC to Long Island. I hit traffic, but wherever the road did open up, the C32 definitely shined.

I'll post up pics, not yet though cause it's been a long day.
