Yes its true. i was on Sunset Blvd. Near bel air/westwood area when I pulled up to a stoplight next to a navy blue ferrari 348 spyder. I didnt think the guy really wanted to do anything but he caught me looking at his car. When the light turned green he took off and I didnt react till he was already 3 or 4 lengths in front of me. I actually made the distance up pretty quickly and we got into a twisty section of sunset where I kept up with him the whole time. Then we hit another stoplight. When the light turned green I took him by 3 cars and then i left off the gas and when right when he caught up to my ass I floored it again and took him completely. I know it was an old ferrari (93' or '94) but who cares...I BEAT A FERRARI !

I've killed a Porsche Boxster, and I've sat a car behind a 911 in a race ;)

Say what you want, but I still rather have the Ferrari. Just being honest. :) But either way GREAT KILL!! I'm sure it would have made my day to beat a Ferrari too. ;)

pardon my ignorance, but what is the diff between a 348 and 355?

The 355 is the replacement for the 348, it is an entirely different car and looks way different too. It is still regarded as BETTER than the 360 in ferrari fanatic opinions

:werd:

I've beat many a boxter in the 350z. The pre-update boxters only have somthing like 200hp. The previous gen Maxima could take one.

I like the 360 Modena, looks better IMO. Make the others look VERY old and outdated. Again, just my opinion.

I've pushed a 308 hard! The things I love about Ferrari's (or at least the older ones) is that they really make you work for the power. The 308 is probably the most mainstream older Ferrari. I think they produced the most 308's of any Ferrari, unless the 355 beat that record.

My favorite of all times is the 250 GTO. There isn't anything better than a 12-cylinder Ferrari!!

I dont know why but I hate the 308...it just never had that same ferrari appeal and ferrari curves.
