dude, run's got a real problem. i think its time for an intervention. i know a nice place in st. helena in the napa valley that helps people like scott.

scott ask yourself, can you go one day without modding? does modding get in your way of your relationships? has family memebers, friends asked you to stop modding?
do you lay awake at night if you haven't modded that day? have you missed work becuase you were up modding all night?

scott its not your fault, modding is a disease, but with the help of your friends and trained professionals, you can live a full and meaningful life.

btw you know where my vote went.

HA!!! If you send me to wine country, I'll just get HAMMERED!!!

I just happened upon this thread... and I'm not sure I can respond!

We all love our cars, no doubt; while it is true that we each approach things at our own pace and in our own unique way,
it's also true that there is no right or wrong way to go about it: if your heart is in it, you're already a winner... no validation prize required!

I will NEVER be satisfied wit hmy 500E - but that's just the nature of the game...

I still neeeeeeeeed (heh-heh):

- huge Porsche brakes, all around
- 2-piece SL AMG wheels (staggered: 18x8.5 front / 18x10 rear)
- to finish my ICE install (so many components just lying around, gathering dust!!!)
- to finish my NACA brake cooling ducting
- to stuff a supercharger in there (somewhere)
- RENNtech 6.0L or Brabus 6.5L conversion (Kolbenschmidt, etc.)
- (real) dual exhaust (a significant challenge)
- RENNtech hi-flow cat-back + headers
- RENNtech Performance final drive ratio + limited slip differential
- to install my bi-Xenon HID kit

So much to do... so little time... so little $$$.

I salute all my Mercedes-Benz friends who are in it for the love.

MODDERS FOR LIFE - THE RIDE / THE LIFE!!!

Man, this is no comparison. Although I do enjoy the approval of other members regarding my car, RUN's mods are on another level. He really should get a Bnzsport medal....for SOMETHING at least. Although I will be able to have my car at the Autofest, and it will look much different than it does now, I am just starting with my car, RUN's car is already so complete, especially after the audio and all the CF pieces are installed. I would go so far as to say it is in the top five 500E's in the country. And maybe two other's are members of this forum as well. ;)
Something else to think about is the fact that Run and I post EVERY single thing we do. Others on this board mod just as much as us, but they don't post all the time. Love to the secret project members out there. :P Thanks guys, let's continue to keep it real.

P.S. Do I get extra points for my website? :P :P
