Has anyone done a swap into a W124?? I thought I saw somewhere on the net a W124 with supra engine swap??

My engine has 223 000km on it now, doing body mods, too many km and too small an engine, no parts for it...

Engine swap next year maybe if I can find something to put in it other than the I-6 320.

Don't want to do Brabus swap, too expensive.

What about a C36 Engine? Thats doable for sure, sombody has done it on a w124 wagon.

Not sure if this counts as it's non-MB related, but I hope to have some Comptech goodies sometime this year . . . :D

Hmmm, interesting. How about a 500 swap? It might be tough but you can have your own custom 500

I will try to setup "something" between your S2K, two W210s, one EVO-8, one SR20 (S14). It'll be fun!!! :D

Great engine, but I want something that I could eventually turbocharge reliably, W124 with a blowoff valve would throw a lot of people off...

If you have and M103 why don't you upgrade to the M104

Because the M104 hardly fits, it would have to be shoe horned in, battery would have to be moved to the trunk, then I'd need a battery kill switch to go to the track and I've never heard of a turbo'd M104, I'd rather go for something that's been turbo'd on many applications and has been reliable.

M104 would be wicked if I didn't ever want to turbo charge it, but even if I kept it NA after market parts would cost an arm and a leg, there are more practical thing I could do to get more hp/torque for my money.

i think there are turboed M104s (mosselman does make a turbo kit for the C220 and C280 which i believe is the M104 engines)

Dude, your car HAS an M104 right now, my car has the M103 LOL!!! You can put the C36 engine in quite easily in both of our cars...

Battery kill switch?? C'mon, you know we just cruise the streets, pimpin' our stuff :)

The M119 is the engine that would be a tough fit (500E). The battery needs to be moved, yes but that is the LEAST of your problems. Pretty much the whole front end of a 500E is needed to make the swap.....stick with the M104 based C36 engine...

Your can turbo both MY M103 and YOUR M104 easily but it is big buck and tough on an older engine like yours with lots of K's...a swap would be best...

Finish your SHO mods first and then work on your GO mods... :)

Haha, I thought M104 was the E500 and M104 was E320... Good to know..

:o Watch your mouth zorro!! haha

I've found my "show mods" minus rims and exhuast, put in the order for the other headlights today, but now I have to phone him, again, to make sure they are for the 94'...

I'm just thinking ahead, my engine isn't worth turbocharging, too many km's, not much bang for the buck either.

yeah a turbo is about 8-10k$

I've done the same thing to my W124, I just gave up with the thought of a larger engine..too much $ for little gain. The 500 engine is needed, just go w/ a 500E/E500 much fewer problems

Not the benz but on the M3 i just got cams, injectors, headers, full race exaust, mass air, pullies, nitrous wet system, differential, short shifter, port n polish, and bigger intake B)

The 16v has some mild cams in it, gutted exaust, R16 mod, and K&N drop in (super pimp) B)

I made a pretty nice Ram Air system by placing some ducts at the fog light location and then running 4 inch tubing up to the stock airbox which has been cleaned up internally. I bored out the MAS sensor from 76mm up to 82mm.

I put two high flow BMS cat's on a true 2.5" dual exhaust.

Ported the intake manifold and made phenolic 3/8" spacers to keep the heat out of the intake.

Underdrive pullies, Oil Extreme(8Hp).

ECU is getting Powerchip right now, +20Hp.

I am going to pull the heads this summer and port the intakes and exhaust ports and clean up the combustion chamber.

I want 300Hp to the rear wheels. Right now my PDA DYno is telling me I have 285Hp and 260ft-lbs of torque. I can cruise down to 20 mph and floor it and the C43 lights up the rear 255/40/17 rear wheels

Maybe if aftermarket Benz performance engine goodies weren't such a freaking rip-off (ala RENNtech, Brabus, etc) we would have more people on here doing more than just buying AMG wheels.

I wish the market was a little larger tuner wise. Everybody would have tons of crap

Lol, this is true: If the market was larger for tuner Mercedes, everybody's car wouldn't look around the same.

I installed a Kleemann boost/pulley kit on my C230 Kompressor back in Dec.
install was pretty straight forward.. and I can really feel the difference in power.
