Hey guys,
I have been on this site a long time almost 2 years and no one has discussed pulleys on an NA engine only on the super charger. Yes I know they are more benificial on FI but they will help with NA.
So has anyone does this, and I have an m119 so I will ask this on other forums as well.
thanks

I have set of underdrive pullies on my C43 from Evosport and they do make a slight difference in acceleration and performance.
If you have already plumbed up a good working Ram Air system for your car and changed the exhaust mufflers to high flow units, then pullies would be a good upgrade.
A set of Magnecor plug wires and Denso Iriduim plugs would also be on my list.

Jeff, do you know a place that can make custom underdrive pulley's?? The Evosport ones aren't for pre 97 w202s...

jerm...have you talked to unorthodox? Another option (if you're willing to forego the controversy) would be ASP. What have you done to your engine so far? There might be other ways to make it interesting without having pullies cut just for you.
Oh and sol, here's a dyno of underdrive pullies:

As W420 can attest to you..finding bolt-ons for the M119 is not an easy thing...

:werd: I've talked to Kleeman, HPS and nada. As for Evosport pulley, they will make you one if you find 10 buyers. You can custom a supercharger but that's 20g, unless you find like 6~7 buyers.. Ok so I guess I'll just flash the ECU then since no other mods are within reach, and I ended up with a car that won't start at Powerchip. If you really want something to give it a little extra kick, I guess you want to look into NOS. Yah it's rice, but when there's nothing else out there that's affordable, rice it is... . :D

Axeman, sorry I don't have a web site for my car... Re your question, I'm running Bilsten & H&R with half coil cut up front. Below is what I had to do to fit 20x9.5 on the car.

I can do most in two to three weeks. All I need is a donor but it is not necessary since I have a source for OEM parts too. Just need engine, model, and year.
I talked to Unorthodox at SEMA and they want a min buy of 50 of each style.
I prefer the one off stuff since I am busy with racing this season.

If you look at his website and the reviews that people on 190Revolution.net have made on his other products I think you would agree with me that the quality of MRP's products are top notch!

Which pulleys? Alt, PS, WP?
You pay time and materials. It will be about $150 to $200 each pulley. They are made to order. You specify material 6061 (Good) or 7075 (Best). Reduction in size; none, -5%, +10%, etc.
I dont recomend over -15% on a street car.
With audio systems over 100 watts I don't recomend changing the altenator pulley.
If you are running forced induction or Nitrous I don't reccomnd changing the waterpump pulley.
If you are weak I don't reccomend changing the PS pulley! :D
