I saw one on the road a few days ago...i think its an off shoot of toyota. looks weird.

I went to the dealer yesterday, but not available for test drive yet. The speedometer kind of looks like a Toyota Echo. The salesperson told me the official day for sale is June 9th so you might want to try that day for a test drive.

I testdrove the Scion xB (the boxy one) 2 weeks ago. I called Thomas to tell him how excited I was! :D

That thing is sooo beautiful. I Got pics of it on a disc from the testdrive. I forgot to post about it! DOH!

When you drive it, that thing corners like a go-kart it's so much fun!! And when you look out of the windshield, it feels all nice and open, feel like you're looking out of a bus, yet it drives like a car.

I wanted one instead of my W124 before lol :D

o i like the honda element...i would drive it, get some 18s lower it dual exhaust haha funnnn paint the plastic to match the body and get HIDs pimp ride right there

Scion is supposed to be toyota's "youth brand" or "generation X" brand that is designed to appeal to those under 20. Over 75 accessories will be offered at the stealership for "customizing" each scion. Its just another way of trying to get them into the import tuner market and make a buck off of it.

I like the xB. I think it'd be a great daily driver. They are pretty inexpensive, get pretty decent gas mileage, and are pretty small.

The Toyota dealership on Geary had a couple of them I think.

the 2door Echo hatch doesnt look bad either (did I really just say that??)

but it seems that I would take this over the Element.. even though the Element is being marketed as sporty/utilitarian SUV (as if SUVs are meant to be something else :rolleyes: ) probably just going to be just another model in the posuer lineup of road-bound 4x4s
