nope...I got a w201...

I'm thinking of getting these lights [imported from UK] and painting them to look like the ones on the Wald w126...I'd like to have hyper white indicator bulbs...:)

The 2nd option I'm considering [and leaning towards to] is the style B [red/black] tail-lights...

I would do red/black. Much classier. And that way we could be brothers!

And if they WERE Lorinsers, your observation would still be incorrect, seeing as the W126 IS old school. ;)

(they are Wald wheels)

I like the all red, all black or the black/red for your car karan.

I finally got my new tails last week!!!

They are the red/ dark smoked ones. they are a darker smoke than the oem 94-95 lights. I love the way they look.!

Pics shortly - After I clean my car again since it just rained here today...

anyone know where to find all-red tail lights for the w126? the only white part on the tail light was the reverse, but everything else was red. Trying to find these... no luck so far.

It might take a while, but have a look on www.mbcoupes.com (http://www.mbcoupes.com) There are people there with 'custom' tail lights. If you contact them, they might be willing to help! :)

nope it quite simple...works the exact same way...i did this mod on my friend's 1987 190E 2.3 and it turned-out like it was OEM...depending on how many coats you spray...you can still have the "amber" shine through the red tint...:)

You have a name of the paint that will match?

I used *Testor* brand *Candy Apple Red*...

...and don't forget to pick up the *clearcoat* [also *Testor* brand] for protection and shine...:)

Thanks... now is this sprayed on the inside of the lens or outside? I am guessing outside, but I am not sure.

Some people spray the inside of the lense as well as the outside...

...*but I* just sprayed the out-side to be on the safer-side and it turned out great...
