I just want to say thanks guys. I appreciate your love. Everyone here encourages me to keep shooting so if I can try and share and get other people to pursue their photography, it's an even better feeling :)
I'm always learning, so in no way do I know everything. Sometimes you just have to go for it and see what you get.
My favorite automobile photographer is Wynn from tUNINGwERKEs. Nokia showed me his stuff a while back and HE's the man when it comes to this stuff. if you guys haven't seen the magazine, I highly recommend it. Very inspiring stuff :)

Dude, you caught me! That's right. It was a Kodak all along. A Kodak DISC camera if you guys remember that!
http://www.joeyandmona.com/albums/album180/IMG_2639.jpg
LOL! Seriously though, this was my very first camera (aside from the spiderman Kodak camera I had when i was six which shot 110 film). I bet it would still work if they still sold Disc film! I'm glad I found it as it brings back memories.
Ph3aR the Ektanon lens! :P

I have a SO NY and mine sucks! My fault for buying a low end camera. I was told later that SONY lenses are not as good as Canon. I could have bought a Canon for the same money...too late now. Who makes the best camera? I want my next camera to be an educated purchase.

Lino, honestly I kid when I talk smack about Sony cameras. All cameras have pros and cons. The question is can you live with the cons. The best thing is to determine what you want to do and do a bit of research on places like dpreview.com. That's a great resource for the buyer.
In terms of the best camera....it really does come down to what you want.
Since you have had what sounds like a poor experience with your digital camera, yous hould now have a pretty good idea of what your next camera should be better at.
If it is the lens quality, then check out sample photos on those review sites. Better yet, try the cameras in the store with your own memory card and review in detail at home.
btw- Canon point and shoot lenses are notorious for purple fringing. That is, highlights show a purple-tint with apertures wider than F4.0. So the camera I am using is actually considered "average" in terms of lens quality. But this con was minor compared to the other features it had. It works for me. But others don't like it. This is an example of beauty in the eye of the beholder.

Considering my Canon D30 is 4+ years old, i'll take ANY new DSLR over it :)
However if I had a 10D or 20D, I would prefer that over the D70. CMOS done right is awesome.
I understand Nikon finally broke and went CMOS with their D2X :)
