Turbo Vs Turbo

So today as i was coming back from the hobbie store....go out from the freeway came next to a MKII MR-2 turbo with rime and suspension work (red)

there is two guys in the car.......i have 1/2 tank of gas PLUS some stuff in the trunk (an AMG rim and an extra boozoka tube on top of the pioneer sub that i have)

so the light turns green he launched out...i had a bad start.......shift to second then stay in third all the way till redline ....as i slowly creeps back up to about 3/4 or a CL ahead (and YES he was trying HARD) after about 2 blocks he turned left...
