Dang Cel Light Came On At The Gtg.

So i'm chilling there and then i feel the sudden urge to take a massive pee. Could be the large coffee I had this morning. So I walk over to the beach to the washrooms........LOCKED! I hurry back to my car...jump in and was gonna take off to the donut store to pay my water bill. CEL came on and car went into limp. I'm pretty sure it's the MAS again..need to pull the codes to check if it's the O2 or the MAS. I'm sure it's one or the other. Changed my MAS once 2.5 years ago..never changed the O2.

I was like..carp..there goes $700cdn for a new MAS. I have an email group going at work and one person works at MB. She's an admin person there. I sent out an email asking if she could find out the price of a new mas. $280 bones CDN + 15% off hehehe awesome. Retail is $440.

That's a good price...MAS shouldn't put your car into full limp should it?? I mean, mine went out but was still driveable.

When I started the car I can tell it was in limp mode. Then I shut her off and restarted the car..not in limp anymore.

Smythe European in San Jose, CA diagnosed my car's problem with faulty Mass
Airflow Sensor and I drove my 97 W202 for at least 1 month with the CEL on
and it never went into "limp mode".
