Well it wasn't a race. 2 weeks ago, during my business trip. I drove from Brussel to Amsterdam. On the way, I saw a E55 AMG (W211). As I came up on it. I was checking it out. Giving the jaw drop face as I made "circles" around the E55. About 5mins in to the admiration process...the E55 took off like bat out of hell. Of course the big Vel Satis with its little 2.0 motor wouldn't even been able to keep up little alone pass 140kph...so I just smiled and proceed to my destination.
During my trip in Europe, rarely saw any AMGs. However there seems to be alot of AMGs in the Red Light District of Amsterdam...as I saw SL55, CL55, S55, and a few C36...guess the rich needs to get their load shot off at the pros.
