View Full Version : Two Thumbs Up To Kleemann Usa

Thanks to Brandon and Corey for a spectacular job in turning my pride and joy into an untouchable, street-eating machine. These guys had the SC installed within one day and spent numerous hours/days at TWO different Dyno facilities to insure that the car was PERFECT. Their dedication to both Mercedes Benz cars and to their customers was obvious throughout my stay in Colorado Springs. They really know their stuff.
For all of you who are actively researching performance upgrades, this is a "MUST", if you have the means. My CLK55 has not lost even the smallest amount of drivability, but step on the gas.........whole new ball game. This car glues you back in your seat and automatically puts a big smile on your face.
Kleemann USA definitely gets two thumbs up from me:cool:
Thanks again Brandon and Corey for all your dedication and hard work, the quality is superb!
Here's some teaser pics for all. I'll post more as my car settles in to its new system....stay tuned!;)

his Horsepower is measure at 438 at rearwheels..
well at crank should be approximately 550 hp..
This crank hp is the figure on the car specs....
say C32 stock hp is 349 hp (this figure is crank hp figure)..
so joe's CLK55 is definitely one mean BEAST :)

Joe,
Though unrelated to your Kleemann extravaganza, I saw a >>RUDE<< RENNtech-esque E55 on the Bay Bridge,
this evening, driven by a *GORGEOUS* cover-girl/BEBE bus-stop-poster-type FREAK.
I LOVE the E55 (even MORE now); yours KICKS @$$!!!
With admiration,

Hey Joe-
Thanks for all your kind words- it was a pleasure having you and your car, and Im pleased as punch that you like it as much as you do.
You will kick some a** at the dragstrip- put some DOT legal race tires on it and I bet you can get close to the high 11's if you practice the launch.
Post your times when you do go, Im interested as can be!

Hey, what's up Brandon,
Just got in a little while ago. I finally got Mike to run his SC mustang against the sleeper.....he didn't even come close. I felt real bad :D :D :D
I spoke to Jay about getting some cheap/light wheels and the closest thing we can find to slicks. I'll let you know what he comes up with.
High 11s would be crazy:shock:

Thanks man.
Talking about kill stories, had a new M3 fall prey to this madness today on my way to order some drag slicks. Hurt that boy sooooo bad that he followed me for 3&1/2 miles to the tire shop where I was buying my slicks. He said that he just wanted to clarify what just happened to him.
The guy left the parking lot swearing he was going directly to the dealer to trade it in..........I guess I should have fest-up to having a SC, I had told him it was stock:cool:

I told my friend who's service manager over at Porsche. He was like..OMG, sweet ride and good service. He's heard of Kleemen and acknowledges thier customer service as top notch.
I told one of my best friend who's a sales manager at an Infinite. He was like..nice...but my turbo'd miata can still beat it. I was like...yeah sure. He busted a driveshaft/axle over the weekend hahahaha...now it gives him an excuse to order some CF replacements.

That's funny. The trouble with trying to dump too much power into a car is that it doesn't stop there. If the rest of the drivetrain can't handle it, your bragging rights go down the toilet as soon as you step on the gas. When I visited Colorado, Brandon invited me to take my car to Bandimere Race Way. I was all excited up until one of those 1000+ HP top-fuel cars with wrinckle tires pulled up to the line to race me. I was sh*ttin* my pants. I figured it was over and this guy is going to make me look silly STUPID. I had no choice but to grin and bare it. We both take off, he flys ahead, and all of a sudden out of the blue, I hear a huge bang. His car goes into a coast and I fly by him like he's standing still!
The one thing I hope is true about my car (Brandon?j/k) is that I can sit on that line all day and run my a** off and finish. But with some of these "super power" rides it's hit or miss. Now, I'm sure this car that I'm referring to had all the right compenents to facilitate the power....but you understand my point, right?

I had my unit installed in Colorado Springs. Out of pocket was~18-19K total. Your system should be a few thousand cheaper, but don't quote me on this.
I'm currently dealing with an authorized Kleemann installer located in Ivyland PA, the owner's name is Toni. From what I hear, this guy is Aces!
Try and contact Brandon (owner of Kleemann USA) via their website. He's a straight shooter and will direct you to the best possible source.
Best of luck,
Joe
BTW, don't let the price deter you, if you have the means, it's a sh*t load of fun.
