what is a power steering filter

is it in a w202 if yes WHERE and how to replace

i dun think i have ever replace a P/S filter b4 i did replace the fluid once i thibk but not the filter

power steering fluid = fluid for the poser steering system...

I don't think you have or need a ps filter on your 96' c280.If you have a black ps fluid reservoir you don't have a ps filter, If you do have a canister type(mostly on earlier models)the filter is located bottom of the canister.

yeah mine is black so i guess i dun need one...but how come they dun have it in the newer ones??
